Some of these poems were written in 2004, while travelling between the northern interior hinterland of BC and the lower mainland. Some predate that.
Some are songs.
Some later became songs. Some have as of yet failed to become songs.
Some are inspired by northern or southern BC poets.
Some are perspired by BC poets.
Some embrace place. Some eschew place.
Some neglect time. Some require time.
All are uniquely the product of their time and place.
Except the ones that aren’t.
