Venomology
Venomology is the study of animal and insect venoms, and poisonous plants, and the crafting of poisons from these material extracts.
Due to the common nature of a wide variety of poisonous mushrooms, berries, etc, venemologists are relatively abundant.
Most poisons have numerous standard recipes that have been formulated through centuries of trial and error, using extracts known for their specific properties. The infusion of magic spells reinforces the extracts natural abilities, for guaranteed 100% success rates, but even non-magical versions of all poisons are fairly consistent, with an average 80% success rate.
100% success rate poisons require a Mage and Venomologist working together, or that the crafter is proficient in both venomology and Magery.
