Characters
Goldensword characters are totally customizable so you can be anyone you want to be. We don't specify rules for race, class, alignment, etc. The characters are more free-form than many systems.

Atributes
The main section of the character is the attributes. A basic entry level character is defined as having 60 points distributed among the following attributes:
- Strength
- Constitution
- Agility
- Charisma
- Perception
- Reason
- Knowledge
- Magery
These attributes directly determine secondary characteristics such as Hit Points & Magic Points, and also affect Skill levels.

Skills
Skills are an optional component to Goldensword characters. A character may have specified skills or may rely on the GM to determine average skill levels for the task at hand. We do provide some simple guidelines for the GM to determine default skill levels here.
Equipment
Of course, a character is nothing without some equipment.
