d20 Random Forest Beasts This list is useful for forest adventures. We suggest one encounter per hour of travel (or league of distance). Th GM should roll d20 to determine which type of beast appears. A few may provide challenging combat, but most will be trivial or merely provide dinner opportunities.

List of Monster Pages Most monsters don't really need a whole page. We really only care about their: Attack, Dmg, Defense, and HP. However, some monsters are a little bit more complex and can almost function as a stripped down NPC. Those ones have all the regular NPC stats, so we'll give them their own page.

Swarm behavior typically affects large groups of tiny to small opponents, such as flying insects, rats, etc. Larger opponents may take the form of either a mob or a pack. Types of Monsters Regular Animals Humanoids Noncorporeal Monsters Some monsters are not physical. Ghosts, Wisps, etc have no physical body. Demons may also fit this category. These monsters can not be damaged with mundane physical weapons. Certain types of spells, magic items, or enchanted weapons may be required to deal with these monsters.
