Strathcona and Overlander cave are actually 2 ends of the same natural cavern formation. Though less than a km apart by land, the cavern system winds and twists several times that distance. Each cave itself is well known, but few have ventured into their cavernous depths, and fewer have been seen again.
Strathcona cave is located just off of the Carney trail, where it crosses through Massey estate. In fact, the cave is a demarcation for the boundary of Massey estate, both to the north, and the east.
