Growlies is an old abandoned and decrepit building which at one time used to be a cool pizza joint with live music.

It is a good intro to the underground because:

1. it has a basement dungeon
2. it requires no keys or lockpicking
3. it contains a large noisy monster whose growling has made its existence common knowledge in the neighborhood
4. it is easy to break into through the fire damaged roof

the upper floors are very run down, with holes in roof, black mold, tattered walls, and rotten furniture. Plants are growing where the sun and rain leak in. A large tree has grown up in the centre.

Various monsters may be present on any level of Growlies. They have fairly free reign of the building, however the building is sorta cut off, so what comes in doesn't get out. (probably entered before basement cave-ins or through roof)
