Weston is obviously some sort of wizard, and a mysterious one at that, so he has a reputation and many folk have a respect bordering on fear. Odd rumors about him abound. Particularly if one is to ask "[[Allison]] the tongue"

Weston has witnessed and photographed many odd, magic, mythic, and whimsical objects, creatures, and events. He has a knack for being in the right place at the right time. Some of these images are a source of interest and speculation to [[Remy]], with whom Weston has a fairly amicable relationship.

Weston makes his own potions. Some of Weston's herbal knowledge were learned from [[Mazarak]] (the wizard of Cinema), and much more learned by experimentation. Weston actually knows nearly as much herbology as [[Willow]], but he has little interest in everyday practical benefits other than his own pursuits.

Weston has a double identity as "The Shadow", official spy to the [[Jarl of Connaught]]. Moreover, he oversees "The Mist"/"The Shadow's Shadow", assassin of the county (not that such a position exists).
