an NPC

Gerrendt, is an old dude with a small hobby farm. He served a long career in the Spears before retiring 
 about ten years ago. He now serves on the [[jarl]]'s council.

He lately has begun tinkering with magic and discovered he has some talent in it. He has become proficient with a number of Motion spells, and is in possession of a motion spell book that has been handed down in his family for centuries.

He is not motivated to adventure, but if convinced, could be a valuable member as he is well equipped and though old, his melee skills are unmatched in the county.
