 Remy knows a fair bit ABOUT magic but has almost no experience. He MIGHT be able to figure out how to cast a cantrip or level 1 spell, given a lot of time. However, most local mage's are his customers, so Remy knows better than most where mages have been rumored to abide. He has sold several scrolls to mages, and his personal collection includes several scrolls and grimoires. He is likely not willing to part with them, or even disclose their existence to strangers or acquaintances, but may lend them to a friend.
