Tonight is dress rehearsal. Yep, that’s right, I’m in a play. Well sorta. Technically. it’s a “reading”. Of course, you can’t put on plays in the middle of a pandemic. But the local theatre groups are getting creative, as theatre types are wont to do. So, it’s a socially distanced staged reading in front of a very limited audience. But it is live theatre, and it is a real play. And not only that, but the play is written and directed by our very own Solomon Goudsward! Yes, it turns out that his genius extends to writing plays. So anyway, I’m the narrator, and I also play “Johnny Appleseed” in this witty dark comedy.
