Doris Ray resides in Fraser Lake in North Central B.C. In 1999 Doris’s award-winning book The Ghosts Behind Him chronicling her son’s devastating experiences with schizophrenia, was published by Caitlin Press. Her novel Common Threads, loosely based upon the secretive life of her grandmother who married a man from China.
