Alex Hernandez is a Cuban-American SFF writer and his work often explores themes of migration and colonization, the past, present and future, all while blending fantasy, history, space opera and biopunk. His first novel, Tooth and Talon, was published by EDGE and he is currently one of the editors of Speculative Fiction for Dreamers, coming out September 2021 from Ohio State University Press, which showcases weird and wonderful tales told by Latinx authors. He lives in South Florida with his wife and two daughters.
